CROXLEY GUILD YFC – THE HOME OF LOCAL YOUTH FOOTBALL

Croxley Guild YFC was formed in 1999 by Club Chairman, Simon Evans, not even he could have envisaged how successful it would become in such a short time.

In seven years the Club has grown dramatically. From a handful of friends having a kick-about, the Club now boasts nearly 300 playing members, starting at under 6’s and under 7’s nursery teams rising to under 18’s.

The Club is currently in the process of obtaining the prestigious FA Charter Standard Award and prides itself on the fact that more than 20 managers and coaches hold FA Coaching Certificates. The number grows every year as each new intake of enthusiastic and excited 5 year olds requires more equally enthusiastic and excited Dad’s (or Mum’s) to earn their badge.

The Club is indebted to it’s many local sponsors’ and is totally reliant on the effort and time the coaches spend developing players by organising training and matches. It would be nice to think that within the Club is the next Stuart Pearce waiting to progress from Sunday morning football to captain of England.
